OK, anyone with information on what is going on with the 483? You can clearly see on the south coal tower cam that they are moving it.

Sharon,
The folks working on it last summer told me they were not able to do very much to the east side (the right side of 483) because of the position it was in. If you look as some of the pictures that were posted after the work last summer, you will see how much more they were able to restore on the left side of the locomotive. I am wondering if they are not moving it now to somewhere where they can complete the work. The "missing parts" were in a box car - do not remember which one that has sense been moved. I am interested to see what else others know about this.

Thanks John, Roger Hogan also said that the move was to allow the Friends to complete the work that was started. As to where its going to sit, have no clue.
